Hartland Track and Field: Update Week 6 (4/15-4/21)

Dear Athletes and Parents,

 

       We had a great week of racing!  We will continue to move kids around to work on their training and find their strengths this week. Please make sure you fill out the  Absence Form early if you are not able to compete in a meet or are not riding the bus.  Tuesday the bus leaves at 2pm so do not go to 7th hour.  I will make sure 7th hour teachers know of the absence.

Howell Dual Meet = Results 

 

Freeland Invite = We had a great day and there were many great performances.  The boys were 4th out of 12 teams and the girls were 5th.

Spirit wear/Team Fee/Pay to Participate

  • Please log into Parent Portal(Mistar) and pay the Pay to Participate fee and team fee.  The fee MUST be paid by Monday 4-22Scholarship Request Form

  • The uniform fee for all those that asked for Mistar will be charged this week.

  • I am hoping the spirit wear order will arrive this week.

Weekly Schedule 4/15

Throwers go to weight room Monday, Wednesday = 2:30, Friday = 1.30


Monday April 15th = Practice 2:45pm at OUTDOOR track for all athletes. All athletes must bring water and spikes/throwing shoes(if available) everyday!


Tuesday April 16th = Novi Dual Meet = (Directions)

TENTATIVE LINE-UP = I will be making changes throughout the day and at practice tomorrow.

Field Events = 3:45pm:Girls Pole Vault, Boys High Jump, Girls Long Jump

4:00pm: Boys Shot, Girls Disc


Running Events = 4:15pm

  • Students may ride the bus or ride with their parents.  They may not Drive themselves unless a Transportation Form has been completed.

  • Fill out the Absence Form if you are not riding the bus

  • Everyone should be to the track by 3:00pm

  • Remember the expectation is that you stay until 6pm

Wednesday April 17th = Practice 2:45pm at OUTDOOR track for all athletes.  All athletes must bring water and spikes/throwing shoes(if available) everyday!

 

Thursday April 18th = Practice 2:45pm at OUTDOOR track for all athletes.  All athletes must bring water and spikes/throwing shoes(if available) everyday!

 

Friday April 19th  = Practice 1:45pm at OUTDOOR track for all athletes.  All athletes must bring water and spikes/throwing shoes(if available) everyday!

 

Saturday April 20th = Highlander Games(Howell = Directions)

No Bus because of the proximity.

Line-up will be out Wednesday

Please fill out the Absence Form if you CAN NOT compete.

  • Field Events = 10:00 AM

  • Prelims = 11:00 AM

  • Finals = 1:00 PM

  • $6 Gate Fee

Attendance

Remember Attendance each day is mandatory.  If you will miss you must inform a coach AND fill out the  ABSENCE FORM .  A job is not a reason you may miss.  Remember the TEAM RULES will now govern attendance issues.

Dear Parents and Athletes We had a great weekend!  The boys team was 1st out of 13 teams and the girls were 2nd out of 12 teams. It was so much fun to see us compete well as a team across the board!
