Hartland Track and Field: Update Week 8 MID WEEK UPDATE

Dear Parents and Athletes,

Tuesday was a great day of competition with many personal bests.  The boys came up just short, 70-53, and the girls pulled out a win with a score of 84-44

Saturday May 2nd = Farmington Invite(Farmington = Directions)  There is NO Bus 

Farmington Invite =  Line-up (Double Check Arrival Times)

• Meet Info = $8 Entry Fee, Cash Only

• Arrival Schedule with Parking Info (Varsity athletes have a plan for parking and arrive early. Be in the stadium at arrival time)

• 10:30 am, Pole Vault (Girls First), Long Jump (Girls First), Discus (Girls First), Shot Put (Boys First), High Jump (NOTE: TWO PITS will jump simultaneously)

Monday, May 4th = Practice 2:45 pm at the OUTDOOR track for all athletes. All athletes must bring water and spikes/throwing shoes(if available) every day!

Tuesday, May 5th   = Salem Dual Meet = Away

Field Events = 4pm

Running Events = 4:30pm

End of the Season

We are quickly approaching the end of the season. Please read carefully. 

• JV Athletes are expected to compete on Tuesday, May 6th Dual against Salem and at the Novi JV Invitational on Tuesday, May 12th. They have the option to compete at the Linden Last Chance meet on May 21st.

• Varsity athletes are expected to compete on Tuesday, May 6th, in a dual against Salem, the Conference Meet on May 9th, and some will compete at the Regional Meet on Friday, May 15th. They have the option to compete at the Linden Last Chance meet on May 21st.

• We expect student-athletes to help at the conference meet. Please sign up on the Google doc = Conference Meet Student Sign-up

• Track Celebration/Mini Meet will be held at the High School Track on Wednesday, May 13th, starting at 4:00 PM (More Info to come)
