Track & Field: Mid Week Update 5/24

Thank You! We had a great time playing some games yesterday and handing out awards. I am sorry we weren't able to include parents this year. I wanted to say thank you to all of you for making this year such a success. I really enjoyed working with all the athletes and wish everyone a great summer. *One note with the Varsity certificates. The athletic office did not have enough so as soon as they arrive I will send a message for those athletes to come grab them. Mid-Week Schedule 5/25 Thursday May 25th = Linden Post a PR(Directions) Line-up Bus = 2:15pm From Track TAKE AND DROP Please let me know if you need a ride back Field Event = 3:30pm, Running = 4:30pm $5 entry Fee = Meet info Please fill out the Absence Form ASAP if you can't race, but this is a great opportunity to end the year with a PR. 3:30 PM Boys’ Pole Vault Begins ( vault begins 30 min after Boys conclude.) Girls’ Shot Put - 4 attempts – NO FINALS (Boys’ to follow) Boys’ Discus – 4 attempts – NO FINALS (Girls’ to follow) Boys and Girls’ Long Jump 4 attempts – NO FINALS (3:30 pm-5:30 pm) Girls’ High Jump ( Boys’ begin 30 min after Boys conclude) 4:30 PM Running events begin following the schedule below. OPEN 2000m Steeplechase (description in attached document) 100/110m hurdles 100m dash Elimination Mile - 1 entry per team (description in attached document) 1600m 400m 300m hurdles 800m run 200m dash 3200m run Coach-Athlete 4x100 (description in attached document)

Friday May 26th = Practice 1:00pm at OUTDOOR track for athletes competing at Larry Steeb or the State Meet. All athletes must bring water and spikes/throwing shoes(if available) everyday!
