Track & Field: Weekly Update 5/22
Dear Athletes and Parents,
We had a great night at the Regional meet!
As a team we accomplished the following:
3 state qualifiers Congrats To Aubree Meyer, Jaxson Wilson and Cameron Cheetam
11 Personal bests
Girls finished 9th and Boys finished 6th
A fantastic way to end the team portion of our season
Upcoming Meet There is one last team meet before states. The Linden Post a PR on Thursday May 25th. If you don't plan on participating please let us know ASAP or fill out the ABSENCE FORM.
Weekly Schedule 5/22 Monday May 22nd = Practice 2:45pm at OUTDOOR track for ALL athletes. We need to clean up the track, Fill out Linden Line-up, sort through lost and found, talk about regional, meet season and some running for those still competing. Tuesday May 23rd = Practice 2:45pm at OUTDOOR track for GAME day and awards(ALL athletes). We will send a text if we need to meet somewhere else, but plan on meeting at the track and we will go from there. Should be done by 4pm. Wednesday May 24th = Practice 2:45pm at OUTDOOR track for athletes competing at Linden or the State Meet. All athletes must bring water and spikes/throwing shoes(if available) everyday! (All Athletes Welcome) Thursday May 25th = Linden Post a PR(Directions) Tentative Line-up Bus = 2:30pm From Track Field Event = 3:30pm, Running = 4:30pm $5 entry Fee = Meet info Please fill out the Absence Form ASAP if you can't race, but this is a great opportunity to end the year with a PR. Friday May 26th = Practice 1:00pm at OUTDOOR track for athletes competing at Larry Steeb or the State Meet. All athletes must bring water and spikes/throwing shoes(if available) everyday! (All Athletes Welcome)
