Final Forms
To attend camp, you must have all the paperwork in Final Forms completed, along with a physical uploaded. Final Forms is open for the 2025-2026 school year. Please start working on your forms. I will update the season checklist with who has filled out Final Forms and the camp survey. Remember, both parents and athletes need an account.
For athletes who can drive, the transportation form is in Final Forms(or will be this week). If you will need to drive to any away meets, please fill it out now, download it, and send it to me.
Qualifying for Camp
Camp is a privilege, and camp is totally optional. An athlete may end their camp stay at any time(No Refunds). All athletes will have the same opportunities during the season, whether they attend camp or not.
You must be eligible per MHSAA and Hartland High School Academic Standards
You must run 4 miles in under 40 minutes.
You must run 5 miles without walking.
If you are new to the program, you must meet the first 3 requirements ONLY
If you are a returning runner, you must log 100 miles between 6/1/26 and 8/7/26.
Logging miles can help keep you healthy and is an integral part of our program.
Mileage Totals (Will update this week)
Join Strava, and I will log your miles! Make sure to sync your watch. Mileage is from Monday to Sunday each week.
Dead Period = The dead period is for all Hartland High School Sports. No sport can hold organized practices with coaches over this period. This year's Dead Period is from June 30th - July 6th. I will not be attending any runs during this time period. Some kids may still want to run, and I am sure they will talk at practice, but no coach will be at Practice June 29th-July 5th.

Runner Expectations at Summer XC Practice
We have many new runners as well as younger runners joining us this year. We are happy to have runners of all abilities, but please be aware that we do have expectations of the runners, and we expect them to be followed so that we can keep everyone safe as well as get the most out of the time we have. Please let me know if you have questions.
You are receiving this email because either you ran High School Cross Country last year, signed up to run this fall, or your child ran cross country in 8th grade at Ore Creek. Please let me know if you would like to be removed from these emails.
As always, please let me know if you have any questions.
