Hartland XC Update Week 1(8/11-8/17)

Dear Runners and Parents,


    Welcome to the start of the 2025 Cross Country Season!  The first official day of practice is on August 11th at 8:00 AM at the West lot of Hartland High School between the track and Creekside(Hartland XC Update Week 1(8/11-8/17)).   


Parent Meeting

Thank you to those who were able to attend the parent meeting.  I know life is busy, so if you weren't able to make it, please read through the parent meeting info below.

Other Costs = Team fee $40

My goal is to send out a spirit wear link this week.

I will pass out uniforms to those who have paid this week. ($30 top, $30 bottom). Remember, you keep them.

FINAL FORMS/Physicals = Please make sure all forms are completed in  FinalForms. You can check the Season Checklist. Athletes will be required to have a physical dated after April 15th, 2025, to run this year.  Please plan accordingly.

Spike Kickoff Event TODAY

Running Lab Brighton(Sunday 8/10 10am-4pm)

Weekly Schedule = I know different days will be harder due to registration.  Please fill out the Absence Form if you won't be able to make practice.  Try to get the run done on your own.

Monday, August 11th = Practice 8:00 am-9:30 am West Lot, Athletes need to have water and a watch at every practice. Long run 50-60 minutes.


Tuesday, August 12th = Practice 8:00 am-11:30 am West Lot, Athletes need to have water and a watch at every practice. Maintenance run 35-40 minutes, strides, weight room 9:30-11:30 (Pick up in front of high school)


Wednesday, August 13th =  Practice 8:00 am-9:30 am   West Lot, Athletes need to have water and a watch at every practice


Thursday, August 14th = Practice 8:00 am-11:30 am West Lot, Athletes need to have water and a watch at every practice. Maintenance run 35-40 minutes, strides, weight room 9:30-11:30 (Pick up in front of high school)


Friday, August 15th =  Practice 8:00 am-9:30 am, West Lot, Athletes need to have water and a watch at every practice.


Saturday, August 16th = OFF


Sunday, August 17th = No Practice: Shake out run or cross train.


Monday, August 18th = Practice 2:30 pm Weight Room, 3:45 pm-5:30 pm, West Lot Long Run 50-60 min

Absences

Remember, all Practices are now mandatory.  If you CANNOT attend, you must fill out the Absence Form
